1. Who we are

Miletos Studio ("we", "us") is operated by Recep Berkay Ünsal, an individual based in Türkiye. Miletos Studio builds websites for small businesses and runs VeilForged, an independent print-on-demand shop on Etsy.

2. What this policy covers

• VeilForged Pin Automation ("the application") — our internal tool that publishes VeilForged's own product images to our own Pinterest account.
• The website miletosstudio.com.

3. What the application does

The application is used only by us, for our own accounts. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

• It reads the active listings of our own Etsy shop through the Etsy API: listing title, tags, listing URL and the public product images.
• About once per hour, it creates one Pin on our own Pinterest account with a title, a description, a product image and a link back to the product page on Etsy.
• It lists the boards on our Pinterest account, creates boards when a new product theme needs one, and chooses the most relevant board for each Pin.

4. Pinterest data the application accesses

The application connects to a single Pinterest account — our own — through Pinterest's official OAuth 2.0 authorization. It requests these permissions:

• user_accounts:read — to confirm that the correct account is connected.
• boards:read, boards:write — to list the boards on our account and create new ones.
• pins:read, pins:write — to create Pins on our account and read them where needed, for example to confirm that a Pin was published.

The application never asks for Pinterest passwords or session cookies, and it never accesses, collects or stores data about other Pinterest users.

5. What we store

• OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Pinterest. They are stored in a private GitHub repository that only we can access, and in a local configuration file on our own computer. They are used only to call the Pinterest API for our account and are never shared with anyone.
• Board mapping: the IDs and names of our own boards and which product goes to which board.
• Pin log: for each Pin — date and time, Etsy listing ID and title, image ID, board name, Pinterest Pin ID and whether publishing succeeded. We use it to rotate images fairly and to fix errors.

None of this contains personal data about other people.

6. Services we use

• Etsy — source of our own product information.
• Pinterest — where the Pins are published.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — to write Pin titles and descriptions, choose a board, and detect size-chart images that should not be pinned. For this we send product titles, tags, board names and the public URLs of product images. We never send Pinterest tokens or Pinterest account data.
• Telegram — status and error messages sent to our own chat. They may include product titles and board names, never tokens.
• GitHub — hosts the application's code, runs it on a schedule (GitHub Actions), stores the files described in section 5, and hosts this website (GitHub Pages).
• Cloudflare — domain name, DNS and email forwarding for miletosstudio.com.

7. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or share data obtained from the Pinterest API with anyone.
• We do not use Pinterest data for advertising or for any purpose other than managing our own Pinterest account.

8. Retention and deletion

• Tokens are kept only while the application is in use and are deleted when we stop using it.
• The board mapping and Pin log are kept while the application runs and are deleted when it is retired.
• Access can be revoked at any time from the apps section of the Pinterest account settings. This immediately stops all API access.

9. Visitors of miletosstudio.com

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms. Our hosting provider, GitHub, may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the site; see GitHub's Privacy Statement. Some pages link to external services such as WhatsApp or Google Maps; those services apply their own privacy policies when you use them.

10. Your rights

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to info@miletosstudio.com and we will reply within 30 days.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
